The film was directed by Joel Schumacher who directed Murphy to his first Oscar for Best Actor in 1996 starring as the title character in the film "Beverly Hills Cop". This film is made up of the following stories: "The Batman/Gotham Knights" "Who Killed Jason Todd?" "The Brave and The Bold" Though the only remaining stories are "Batman/Gotham Knights" and "Who Killed Jason Todd?", both are included in this film. This is due to the fact that these stories focus on "Gotham Knight", the characters that appear in Schumacher's films, who are not seen in any other of his films. The "Batman/Gotham Knights" story centers on Batman, who attempts to rescue his son, Richard "Dick" Grayson, from the clutches of Poison Ivy. After he fails, he leaves Gotham City to track down Nightwing in London after finding out that Nightwing's mentor Oracle is not Barbara Gordon, but instead Selina Kyle. The second story is "Who Killed Jason Todd?" which is about Batman tracking down his former partner Robin after he was murdered along with his girlfriend by their landlord shortly before they were to wed. Batman finds the killer at the wedding of Jason's former mentor's daughter where he apprehends him. This is an interesting story since Jason Todd was murdered in another Batman film called "". The film was released on DVD for the first time in March 2013 after it had previously only been available on VHS. A fourth story, "", is available as an extra on the DVD release. A feature called "The Cutting Room Floor" was also included, which consists of scenes that were not included in the final version of the film. A soundtrack album for this movie does exist and is also composed by Shirley Walker. The album was released on both CD and cassette by Warner Bros. Records in 1992. Allmusic gave this album a rating of 4 out 5 stars upon its release and it contains a total of 31 tracks over a duration of 1:14:15. cfa1e77820
